CRAFT International Animation Festival 2023
CRAFT International Animation Festival (CRAFT Animfest) is the first festival in Asia devoted to traditional techniques in animation (stop motion, classic drawing/painting animation, sand animation, etc.) It is also the first festival in Southeast Asia to review the current artistic animation implemented in this part of the world (in that case including digital techniques).
CRAFT Animfest task is to popularize some classic techniques of animation in a computer-dominated environment. Also to appreciate artists from this the Southeast Asia region. Ones who, regardless of the technique, makes original and interesting films. The moments of CRAFT Animfest is also a time for a creative meeting and exchange of experiences between creators and festival goers.
CRAFT Animfest it’s a biennial festival. Every odd year since 2017, CRAFT Animfest set to be held in the same week with The World Animation Day (28 October).
